BIG STEPS

Celebrate Transition Creatively

Big Steps is a creative course designed to prepare Early Years, Reception, Year 2 and Year 6 pupils for making the Transition between key stages.

A Bigfoot Tutor will follow a specifically designed scheme of work developed in partnership with the DFES, Healthy Schools, teachers and pupils.
 
Drama games, role-play and improvisation allow pupils to express their fears, worries and anxieties. These activities provide a variety of strategies to help pupils cope with the practical and emotional aspects of transition.
