By giving the students a professional experience and by giving them ownership of the process they have now gone on to set up the ‘Ad Hoc Theatre Company’. Students will now put on shows throughout the year and will be involved in the whole creative and marketing process!
"The students clearly loved working with Gareth (Director) and gained an enormous amount from his professionalism and expertise. They have spoken about their focus on characterisation and how refreshing this approach for them. The project enabled them to bring the period alive by immersing themselves in the lives of individuals through characterisation and thorough research. I was totally stunned by the performances on the opening night; I had expected a great deal, but the students far exceeded my expectations. The public response was tremendous - young and old alike were enthralled!" Jake Lever, Community Arts Coordinator, Cheltenham Bournside School
