To celebrate World Book Day, Bigfoot Arts Education are delivering an exciting Creative Literacy programme to primary schools during spring term 2008. Join us in a journey through our imaginations!
London & Home Counties (Assembly and Workshop Programmes)
Both programmes include an interactive assembly for either the whole school or specific key stages, followed by workshops for selected class groups. Both programmes are accompanied by a comprehensive CD ROM resource pack, ensuring that the programmes are fully sustainable.
Jack’s Amazing Adventure
Who? What? Why? When? Where? Jack and the Ice Queen are eager to tell an exciting original story, but they need help….Where do they begin? How does the story end?
Due to a fantastic response in 2005, Jack’s Amazing Adventure is back by popular demand! This programme explores story structure, character development and alternative endings, with an overarching aim of using drama as a stimulus for story-telling and creative writing.
Cinderella’s Lost Shoe
The clock is ticking. Will Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother find the shoe in time or will Cinderella lose her Prince forever?Cinderella’s Lost Shoe uses one of the most well known fairy tale characters as a stimulus for exploring storytelling and creative writing. The programme is designed to encourage participants to develop their use of descriptive language, whilst challenging them to take risks with their imaginations.
