LIVING HISTORY |
Bring history to life through drama!
- A Living History workshop explores the lives, attitudes and activities of various periods in time, bringing historical figures and events to life!
- A Living History workshop is an ideal creative opportunity to complement classroom learning, and includes a follow-up resource pack for each student.
- During the first part of the workshops students explore the topic through a variety of drama skills including active story-telling, role-play and improvisation.
- During the second part of the session students meet a character or historical figure, hear their story and ask them about life in the chosen period.
- Students also devise and perform their own scenes, reflecting on what they have learnt and enjoyed!
