The workshops will incorporate a number of drama skills including active storytelling, improvisation and forum theatre.

N.B. The content of the workshops are dependent on the chosen format.

Objectives
The workshops celebrate the bicentennial anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar in a form that students will find accessible and exciting. Using drama as a tool to explore the life of Nelson and the Battle itself will give students the opportunity to visualise and experience life in C18th Britain and understand the importance of the Battle for Britain today.

Requirements
Please note that the workshops are designed for a maximum of 30 students. A member of staff must be present during all workshops. A hall or similar sized space will be required for all workshops. Assemblies can accommodate the whole school.

The workshops are accompanied by resource packs which include detailed lesson plans of the sessions, worksheets and suggestions for follow-up work.
