October is Black History Month. Celebrate it creatively with Bigfoot!
The Empire Windrush programme explores the journey of the Empire Windrush in 1948, as its’ passengers said goodbye to their homes in the Caribbean and prepared for a new life in post-war Britain. Several drama techniques will be used to encourage the participants to consider the feelings and experiences of the passengers, and, ultimately explore their own journeys in a safe and fun learning environment.
An African Tale or Two…aims to develop speaking, listening and creative writing skills through the medium of storytelling. The participants will not only be captivated by various African myths and stories, but will experience the sights and sounds of Africa first hand!
Demand has been particularly high for both programmes, so please book early to avoid disappointment!
