Bigfoot partners with New Era Academy
We are very pleased to announce that Bigfoot is forming a relationship with New Era Academy, an independent drama examination organisation which has been going strong since 1941. Both organisations intend to work closely together to offer children from mainstream schools a wealth of opportunities in which to achieve and develop qualifications and skills in drama. Bigfoot schools that are enjoying after school clubs, PPA courses and holiday activities could benefit from taking part in New Era's group drama examinations.
Bigfoot awarded Quality in Study Support (QiSS) kitemark
Bigfoot has become the UK's first arts education company to be awarded QiSS kitemark. The aim of QiSS is to support schools, local authorities. 14-19, HEIs and other educational organisations in raising students' achievement, motivation and self esteem. The Quality in Study Support (QiSS) Recognition Scheme provides a formal public validation of the self-evaluation process at the three levels undertaken using the Extending Learning Opportunities; a framework for self-evaluation in study support. Study Support is now seen as an initiative of proven effectiveness in raising standards of learner attainment and increasing learner motivation. See more »
